Hi, I'm Sarah!

​

 

I am a Family Nurse Practitioner, trained health coach, and passionate advocate for health and wellness. With over 20 years of experience as a nurse and more than 15 years as a Nurse Practitioner, I’ve worked in Cardiology, Internal Medicine, Gastroenterology, Clinical Research, and Mental Health.

 

Throughout my career, I’ve witnessed the devastating impact of lifestyle-related diseases on individuals and families. This has fueled my mission to empower professionals to reclaim their health, transform their mindset, and build sustainable habits that lead to lasting well-being.

I earned my Doctorate in Nursing Practice with a focus on Lifestyle Medicine, where I deeply studied the 6 pillars of a healthy lifestyle: a plant-based diet, physical activity, improved sleep, healthy relationships, avoiding harmful substances, and managing stress. Through both professional expertise and personal experience, I know that incorporating these pillars into daily life can lead to optimal health, renewed energy, and true transformation.

But health isn’t just about weight loss—it’s about feeling confident, vibrant, and in control of your life.

 

I help my clients overcome self-doubt, and embrace their authenticity so they can live a healthy, confident, and vibrant life. My approach is practical, realistic, and designed to fit the demands of a busy professional life.

MY STORY

I created Unlayered Health and Wellness because I’ve walked the same path many of you are on.
As a busy professional, wife, and mother, I know how easy it is to put yourself last—juggling
endless responsibilities while stress and unhealthy habits quietly take their toll. I’ve felt the
weight of exhaustion and the frustration of being stuck in a cycle that seemed impossible to
break.


But here’s what I learned: true health isn’t just about diet or exercise. It’s about peeling back the
layers—addressing mindset, nutrition, mental well-being, and balance. With over 20 years of
nursing experience and advanced credentials, including a Doctorate in Nursing Practice focused on
Lifestyle Medicine, I’ve helped countless individuals transform their health. At Unlayered, my
mission is to empower you with the tools and guidance to build sustainable habits, nurture your
mental wellness, so you can grow into the best version of yourself.

I was busy, stressed, overwhel-med, and was struggling to find balance between my career and family life.
